Risk Management Analyst

The Global Risk Management Analyst will provide essential support to the Risk Management department and its objectives by ensuring we deliver the best output of data for our underwriters and maintain accuracy of documentation associated with insurance renewals across the global risk portfolio. This position will work closely with Global Risk Management & Treasury Managers, along with various internal and external partners to support day-to-day operations of the Risk Management function. We are looking for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

Collect, compile and analyze all necessary underwriting information required for Carnival to place insurance policies, incorporating multiple data sets from our global operations, and presentation to team managers in appropriate formats. Collect, compile and review letters of credit, guarantees and bonds in force, and administer their renewal. Review and distribution of post-renewal insurance documentation ensuring the accuracy of documentation received from brokers and insurers and distributing to appropriate stakeholders across the company Managing all third-party supplier payments, including liaising with external partners to ensure alignment on outstanding invoices Maintaining the completeness and accuracy of the Risk Management SharePoint site housing corporate policies and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management or similar Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Risk Management or Surety role. High proficiency in MS Office, in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills Methodical Organized and attentive to detail Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.  Growth mindset and self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. Ability to develop and manage end to end processes to completion.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida from Tuesday through Thursday.  Employees may work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some positions may require additional in-office time each week and final schedule is determined by your leader.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
