Join our team as a CCOR (Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk) Vice President and play a pivotal role in shaping the LE governance framework in EMEA. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior stakeholders, including the EMEA Chief Compliance Officer and global controls leadership. You will manage multiple tasks, drive innovation, and contribute to a proactive risk management culture.
As a CCOR Vice President within Compliance team, you will support the regional interface of LE Risk Assessments (LERA) and Qualitative Risk Appetite Assessments (QRA). You will support the execution of the EMEA program across Compliance and Operational Risk, working in a dynamic environment to deliver first-class solutions. Your role will involve managing stakeholder relationships, driving innovation, and ensuring a strong risk and control environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate and implement the LERA and QRA program standards across relevant LOBs and stakeholders, including the Chief Compliance Officer. Support the execution of the LE Framework, including Legal Entity Risk Assessment (LERA), Quarterly Risk Assessment (QRA), and Conduct initiatives across the region. Lead projects aimed at driving efficiency and effectiveness within the LE Framework, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic goals. Collaborate with regional counterparts to ensure consistent execution of the LE Framework, sharing best practices and aligning on methodologies. Deliver training to enhance understanding and execution of the LE Framework across the region. Work closely with the 1LOD to ensure effective execution and integration of the LE Framework. Develop presentations to communicate issues, recommendations, and status of initiatives. Identify control issues, determine root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide critical and analytical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions. Contribute to innovation projects to automate manual processes Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Create a proactive LE culture within 1LOD and 2LOD.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
12+ years’ experience in Compliance or Operational Risk. Strong command of written and oral executive-level communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of attention to detail and quality of work. Ability to consistently deliver high-quality results on the regional program. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated with a positive, professional, and can-do attitude. Team player with strong analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the corporate framework. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Educated preferably to degree level with professional certification. Shift timing 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Understanding of control frameworks and risk assessments. Ability to drive automation of manual processes and data volumes. Experience with tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
