As an Investor Reporting Senior Associate within the Asset Management team, you will focus on multifamily, commercial, affordable, and structured loans, such as mortgaged-backed securities. You will collaborate closely with agencies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as master servicers, ensuring adherence to reporting and remitting requirements. In this role you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in investor reporting, or accounting, with experience in multifamily or commercial mortgage loan servicing, while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential. You will also participate in and oversee projects.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare cash reporting and remittances to investors, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
+ Ensure accurate and timely submission of investor status reports, including those for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and master servicers, and support other reporting activities, such as reconciliations and loan sales processing.
+ Ensure compliance with agency guides, servicing agreements, and key dates/terms from servicing contracts, addressing exceptions as needed.
+ Adhere to internal policies and procedures, process controls, quality standards, and management directives while meeting contractual obligations to investor clients and external parties.
+ Research and summarize results to respond comprehensively to inquiries from investors, auditors, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.
+ Maintain strong investor relations and interact effectively with internal and external customers.
+ Document and maintain procedures for responsible tasks.
+ Take on additional responsibilities as opportunities arise.
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
+ 4+ years of experience in investor reporting and/or commercial loan servicing activities.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent business communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments.
+ Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
+ Strong knowledge of commercial and multifamily affordable loan documents.
+ Proficient in Excel, with experience using multiple formulas and functions.
**Preferred qualification, capabilities and skills**
+ 2 years of experience with the CREFC Investor Reporting Package (IRP).
+ Familiarity with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Multifamily Servicing Guides and systems, such as CESIR, eServicing, and MyOptigo.
+ Experience with Strategy, McCracken's loan servicing system.
+ General knowledge of commercial and multifamily loan documents, forward commitments, bond credit-enhanced mortgages, low-income housing tax credits, and MBS tax-exempt bonds.
+ Awareness of current real estate market trends.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
