Risk Management Education Specialist (Hybrid)

What you will do:

Under general direction of the Director of Underwriting Education (DUE), RMS Education specialist (RMES) consult and work with,   Director of Risk Management,  Regional Managers and staff, underwriting to identify, develop, and deliver learning materials and training programs for general and targeted areas of improvement for Risk Management and/or underwriting. Work with DUE, RMS leadership and staff,  to provide supportive learning programs that will assist RMS staff sales and consulting skills. Develop training course content, reference materials and training for RMS/UW staff that will result in improved risk assessment, risk selection and loss ratio results as measured by yearly corporate goals. Regularly review and update training materials on all learning platforms for Utica National. Consolidate and standardize as appropriate. Provide continued support and training throughout Risk Management lifecycle; include input from cross functional stakeholders to ensure and reinforce standard Risk Management methods and approach. Recognize and identify gaps in knowledge and provide supportive learning opportunities to Risk Management staff.  Update, facilitate and deliver 2025 leadership RMS Trainee Program. Collaborate and work with RMS and underwriting in design, development and delivery of an RMS experienced hire training program. Collaborate with RMS leadership in development of RMS Technical specialty program for existing RMS field staff for: Property, Liability, Worker’s compensation, Commercial Automobile or other technical areas.

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop and facilitate RMS tech talk topics and materials (6 each year). Assist and participate in UW roundtable sessions. Collaborate with RMS leadership in development of annual training program and schedule. Assist in development and delivery of two centralized training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.

What you need:

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or Equivalent business experience.

Experience: 4-7 years-  4+ years of Commercial Lines Risk Management Experience. Adult Learning/Curriculum development preferred preferred.

Salary: $83, 000-$115,000 per year

Additional Information:

This position is a full time salaried, exempt (non overtime eligible) position.
