Risk Management - Emerging Credit Risk Analytics - Associate

As an Associate in Risk Management - Emerging Credit Risk Analytics, you will be at the forefront of consumer credit analysis across industry product types and Consumer and Community Bank portfolios. Your role will be informed by changes in the landscape, consumer behavior, and macro-economic influences. You will be responsible for providing the Chief Risk Officer and other senior leaders with a proactive viewpoint on consumer credit trends. This role offers the opportunity to be a strategic architect of compelling views of consumer and wholesale credit across the Consumer and Community Bank. **Job Responsibilities:** + Performing data analysis to research credit and consumer behavior trends, understand their drivers, and conduct impact assessments on consumer credit portfolios + Evaluating how changes in the consumer credit environment impact the performance of credit portfolios - with a particular focus on macroeconomic, socioeconomic, and intelligence trends + Researching topics sourced from the media, investor questions, and general industry trends & proactively applying quantitative disciplines to associate topics with potential emerging risks around delinquency, loss & roll-rates, and forecasts + Building compelling data visualizations & distilling key informative messages clearly from large amounts of data + Communicating key findings, participating in forums, and advancing the dialogue around credit trends within the risk community at both the analyst and executive levels **Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:** + At least 1 year of credit experience, in one or more consumer credit portfolios + College degree or equivalent in business, economics, statistics, STEM or related field of study + Strong data and analytical skills including familiarity with tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, Alteryx and Tableau to manipulate big data into manageable analytics and identify, explain, and visualize key trends + Experience with complex risk analyses (delinquency, roll-rates, and other risk measurements) to provide senior management with business insights of consumer credit quality and behavior trends, and portfolio performance + Communication skills and ability to convey risk management results, outlooks and cross-consumer points of view to senior executives **To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
