Job Description As a Risk Manager, responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing potential issues that could have a negative impact on business operations and financial performance. A Risk Manager involves being mindful of potential risks and what could go wrong, both the expected and the unexpected events.Ensure that the organization meets the regulatory risk requirements. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing mitigation plans, and make changes accordingly.
Look after in communicating risks of a project or initiative to SDPs, DMs and other stakeholders to ensure they understand the impact, importance of compliance to laws, regulations and business policies and support its closure prior implementation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Risk Management: Develop and execute the overall risk and problem management strategy to drive excellence in the L2A process, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices. Lead the design and implementation of risk frameworks, ensuring a consistent approach to risk management across all teams.
Issue Resolution and Risk Management: Oversee the resolution of complex risk issues, working closely with the Quality Manager , Operations and other division’s team to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential quality issues, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address any deviations.
Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor the Problem and Risk Managers and experts,, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and ensure that the quality team operates effectively in achieving its objectives.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying risks in the L2A process and implementing innovative solutions toto mitigate risks. Lead cross-functional projects to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and elevate the overall risk score of the team.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze risk and problem trends to make informed decisions that guide risk decision making. Utilize performance reports to identify key focus areas and refine risk strategies accordingly.
Reporting and Communication: Regularly update L2A LT on the team’s performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and action plans for improvement.
Policy and Procedure Development: Lead the creation and maintenance of risk policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they are consistently applied by the Risk and Problem Manager, Experts, and the broader team. Adapt and update risk guidelines based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving business needs.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the training of the Risk and Problem Manager and Experts on newrisk initiatives, tools, and methodologies to keep the team up-to-date on best practices. Promote knowledge sharing across the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Experience In project management, problem resolution, risk Management
Analytical Skills: Strong background in data analysis and process improvement, with the ability to interpret Risk metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in risk assessments and reporting.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and deliver effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree in any related field
