**Req ID:** 452442 **BASIC PURPOSE:** The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for all areas of the Risk Management Department and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the Intern. **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Assist with claims investigations as requested and triage incoming claims to support the Risk Management team. + Communicate consistently with members of Risk Management and all relevant parties. + Assist with proper documentation of claims. + Other duties assigned as needed. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + Education: + HS Diploma or equivalent required + **Currently enrolled in four year university program** (preparation for Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Occupational Safety, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or other related field). + Experience: + Past Internship experience a plus + Mechanical aptitude is a plus **SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Skills: + Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office + Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, proficient time management skills, multi-tasking, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, strong work ethic, excellent organizational and planning skills, must have strong ethics and ability to keep confidences. + Typical Physical Demands: + Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping + Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds + Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator + Requires normal range of hearing and vision Love's Family of Companies encourages growth within the Company and the development of it's employees.
