About Us: At NorthStar Memorial Group, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and financial stability. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Risk Management Manager to join our team and lead our comprehensive risk management program.

Role Overview: As the Risk Management Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact our organization. You will work closely with field management to enhance site-based safety and compliance, manage our insurance portfolio, and develop strategies to ensure business continuity. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze relevant data. Build and maintain strong relationships with field management to improve safety and compliance. Review and enhance risk management policies and protocols. Implement effective risk management solutions, including insurance and safety policies. Manage insurance coverage and claims. Prepare and oversee the risk management budget. Evaluate facilities and rolling stock, ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are in place. Develop and deliver training programs to minimize risks. Collaborate with Legal, CFO, HR, and field management teams. Present risk reports and proposals to leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a risk management role. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a multi-site service organization is a plus.

Travel: This position requires 50% travel, including overnight stays.
