Risk Management Operations Coordinator
The Risk Management Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Risk Management / Compliance Officer in administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis, including managing and analyzing risk management data, patient advocate, collecting and investigating complaints and grievances and meeting regulatory requirements, patient rounding/customer service, conducting and facilitating risk management educational programs based upon availability and identified needs, and compliance with all regulatory and state standards relating to risk management and patient rights. Additional duties include data collection and reporting for various committees, assisting in coordination of internal mock surveys/external surveys and serving as a resource to departments in complying with regulatory and state standards. Attends departmental and committee meetings as the risk management representative as assigned. Assists in preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes for various meetings. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills (oral and written) required. High level critical thinking skills and problem resolutions skills required. Computer skills with google platforms, graphics, presentation tools, and data base programs necessary. In depth knowledge of regulatory standards / Federal & State laws / regulations desired. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and deadlines. Presentation skills and clerical skills required. Three to five (3-5) years risk management experience preferred and/or extensive customer service/advocacy.
