Role Description
The Risk Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our International Risk Management programmes. The role works on placement of insurances, assists with complex claims and supports our business by using their technical insurance knowledge.
The role has a particular focus on cancellation and non-appearance insurance. As this is a specialised role, we are flexible in our approach to recruitment and encourage both those with transferrable and direct relevant experience to apply.

Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Proven experience in risk management and insurance
Knowledge of contingency insurance preferred
Experience in multinational, fast paced corporations
Strong communication skills, including the ability to concisely and accurately communicate technical insurance related information
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team, internal customers, external brokers, underwriters and claims administrators
Behaviours

Highly organised with the ability to work under tight time constraints
Excellent negotiation skills
What the role includes
Data gathering and analysis for insurance renewals
Advising on the business on placement strategy for contingency insurance
Support in placement of the global insurances
Management of third party partners
Provide subject matter expertise across operations, including contract reviews, for all insurance-related matters
Data gathering and reporting to various stakeholders
