Job Description

The Risk Manager role is supporting the UK&I region and plays an important role in the embedded 1st Line of Defense risk model in Experian. Reporting into the UK&I Technology Risk Director, you will provide support to the Exec and senior management of T&I in the identification, assessment, management and reporting of risk. You will ensure that risk and control management is integrated into main decision-making activities, strategies, plans, services and capabilities.

What you'll do:

Help create Top Risks in consideration of relevant Exec Sponsor, including those with control dependencies outside of the BU.Facilitate quarterly reviews and assessment updates to top risks.Create the UK&I T&I Risk & Controls Self-Assessment (RCSAs).Facilitate review and self-assessment updates including T&I SLT approval process.Support the operational areas within the region in the creation and maintenance of Functional Risk Registers (FRRs).Develop RA metrics and KRIs with the T&I subject matter experts.Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting to key stakeholders.Support Compliance Monitoring Reviews.Co-ordinate the Risk and Control attestations for the annual Global Attestation process.Ensure up-to-date documentation and evidence of risks, controls, and decisions.Complete ‘Risk Acceptance’ Forms for any Issues where no remediation planned.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

Around 5 years' experience in a risk environment.Experience working within a line 1 Operational Risk team.Educated to higher degree level in a relevant subject.Understanding of Financial and Operational Risk Management and assessment within a regulated environment.Experience driving forward change and improving performance in a risk environment.A track record in implementing risk management frameworks.An understanding to implement controls in the provisions of Data.Stakeholder management.Excellent written and verbal English skills.The ability to develop clear, efficient and logical approaches to work.Ability and skills to adapt and adjust to business needs to maximise opportunities in servicing improvements.Excellent reporting skills with a clear focus on accuracy.
