The Risk Specialist will successfully oversee and manage the project runway for all key LRC projects ensuring that project methodologies are utilized. The role holder will oversee the planning, execution and successful delivery of the projects whilst coordinating resources and cross functional teams to meet all project objectives. The Risk Specialist will also be responsible for communication with key stakeholders across the enterprise. 

 

Some of the things you will be doing:

 

Incident Management: To successfully design, deploy and embed an Incident Management framework including Policy, Procedures, Tooling, Reporting, Training and continual process improvements, whilst providing ongoing SME ownership to the framework.  Strategic Planning: Develop and define project goals, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with organizational priorities. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Leadership: Provide direction, mentorship, and support to LRC team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address issues before they impact project outcomes. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively across projects, balancing competing priorities and ensuring optimal utilization. Financial Management: Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure projects deliver value within financial constraints. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, milestones, and KPIs, implementing adjustments as needed to keep projects on course. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with client or organizational expectations. Continuous Improvement: Promote process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes over time.

 

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

 

Minimum 5 years of Compliance and Risk experience Track record of successful enterprise-wide and/or multi-jurisdictional deployments Experience of successfully leading enterprise level project deployments Good understanding of the range of products and services offered within CSC Experience and knowledge of CSC systems and applications Proven excellent interpersonal and people management skills Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision Demonstrated effective communicator at all levels Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions ensuring that stakeholders at all levels are brought on the journey as projects are executed and deployed
