**Responsibilities** + Underwrites an inforce book of business and new business quotes, focused on attaining profitable growth, persistency, and earnings. + Performs case-specific risk assessments. + Responsible for account level rate development and conducting sales strategy discussions with internal business partners. + Proficient with manual rating pricing methodologies and new business and renewal pricing strategies. + Responsible for an assigned book of business consisting of accounts in our SME (Small-to-Medium Employer) segment. + Works directly with Sales and Client Management teams on new business quotes and renewals, requires the ability to articulate our pricing strategies, risk concerns, and underwriting analysis. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience + 1+ years of underwriting, finance or related experience strongly preferred + Strong organizational and prioritization skills + Analytical and financial acumen + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Success in multi-tasking environment + Detail oriented and team player If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. **About Cigna Healthcare** Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
