Job Advert Role Description
The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital. We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders
We are looking for a motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse with post registration experience to work as part of our multidisciplinary team. The position is predominantly within our Acute General/Addictions Ward; however, you will be required to work within both Acute and Eating Disorder wards as and when required.
The successful candidate will be a team player, who is patient-centred and possess excellent communication skills. Flexibility is required to work across all wards.
A good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessments and the care plan approach is required. Experience of working within Acute General Psychiatry/Addictions/ is desirable.
Hours of work will be averaged at 37.5 per week:
Week 1: 4 shifts
Week 2: 3 shifts
Week 3: 3 shifts
Week 4: 3 shifts
Shifts will be rotational across days and nights.
