Follow standard practices and perform all work promptly and accurately, obtaining quality and quantity objectivesAccurately receive, store, and / or deliver incoming and outgoing materials, components, finished goods, etc.Accurately and correctly input via computer and / or hand held scanner into the inventory management systemSupport inventory accuracy through daily operations, cycle counting, and physical inventoryOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficientlyPrepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentationMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and regulationsCollaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve efficiencyParticipate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practicesAssist in troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies in inventory counts or shipmentsPerform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues to supervisorsAdhere to company policies and procedures regarding material handling and storage
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is mandatory.Demonstrated proficiency in Work Keys Assessment with a minimum score of Silver is required.Proven competence in basic mathematical calculations is essential.Proficiency in operating hand-held scanners is crucial for this role.Strict adherence to instructions and ability to follow directions precisely is imperative.Physical capability to move or roll objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) is a non-negotiable requirement.Ability to perform repetitive bending and lifting motions is necessary for this position.Extensive forklift operation experience is mandatory.
