Summary The Women's Services Specialty Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is responsible for the initial and ongoing education and competency assessment and evaluation process within the assigned units. The Women's Services Nurse Educator assists Nursing Services and provides programs and training to enhance the development of technical, psychomotor, and critical thinking domains. The Women's Services Nurse Educator will maintain clinical competency in order to best assess and assist the needs of the units assigned. Education and Experience Minimum Required Education: MSN or current enrollment in an eligible program with completion within 2 years. Experience: 3+ years in an inpatient acute care facility and in an area of specialty clinical responsibility. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Applicant must be licensed to work as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BLS upon Hire.
