Summary
The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for all of the nursing needs in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department of the Lifestyle Center. Specifically, the Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for identifying the patient's alterations in health, assessing the patient's human response to actual and potential health problems, and implementing nursing interventions based on theoretical concepts from nursing and other arts and sciences to achieve outcomes for the patient that facilitate resolution of alterations in health, and actual and potential health problems.
Education and Experience
Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program in the State of Virginia
Experience: 2+ years in the ICU, CCU, Emergency Department, or Cardio Rehab facility, plus 1+ years in telemetry monitoring and stress testing
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Applicants must be registered to work as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia, and must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
