30Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse / Charge Nurse for our Occupational Health Services. This is your opportunity to have variety in your day while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
What is available:
60 hours every two weeks on the La Crosse campusPotential for 4, 8 and or 10 hour shifts. Flexibility needed. No weekend or holidaysAfter successful orientation, this position will transition into a charge nurse role
What you will do:
This role allows for hands on direct patient care and charge nurse responsibilitiesCharge nurse role includes such things as: maintaining business relationships, attending meetings, and overseeing department daily operations as well as providing direct patient care. Direct patient care includes items such as drug screens and breath alcohol testing (training provided in-house), hearing tests and pulmonary function tests (one week of training at the University of Minnesota), execute point-of-care urinalysis dip testing, Immigration exams, nurse triage and many more tasks to meet the needs of our patients and employers.

What you will need:
Minimum of associate degree in nursingRN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin BLS for healthcare providersMinimum 3 years RN experience, Occupational Health RN experience a plus!
