Are you a Nurse or soon-to-be Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment? The High-Level Care Unit at UPMC Western Maryland is looking for you! We offer full-time, part-time, or casual hours, with rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Our 28-bed step-down unit offers specialty care in trauma, peritoneal dialysis, and cardiac care. All rooms are private with in-room cardiac monitors.

Responsibilities:

Safe work practices, patient teaching, supporting new staff, continuous development Applying the nursing process, improving quality of care, identifying opportunities for quality improvement

 

Qualifications:

Good clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients

Minimum hiring rate: $31.10 (non BSN RN), $32.85 (BSN). The recruitment team will work with you and your manager to place you in the appropriate title.
