Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients� health through the nursing process. The RN provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, evaluation, and patient health education within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. This position is located at 14810 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258. Responsibilities Administers medication intravenously, orally, and intramuscular as directed by physician. Monitors patient's vital signs as per pre and post cath orders and records data in a specified manner. Evaluates patient condition at all times and notifies physician of any problems. Performs CPR, de-fibrillates patient and operates temporary pacemakers and IABP when necessary. Provides any necessary assistance to patient or physician in emergencies. Assists Technical staff as necessary. Responsible for accurate documentation of all patient data. Maintains Procedural Area in accordance with established guidelines. Remove Venous and Arterial sheaths. Help gather and evaluate data relating to Quality Control. Pre Patient Phone calls, you will be required to call patients before procedures. Qualifications An Associate's Degree in nursing with a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. A current Florida RN license and at least TWO years of Cardiac Cath Lab or IR experience. ACLS and BLS – current
