Registered Nurse – Short Stay Observation Unit

Position Highlights

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide individualized, high-quality care to cancer patients and their families in alignment with hospital standards, the ANA Code of Ethics, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities

Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families. Integrate patient- and family-centered care principles and quality caring factors into daily practice. Provide patient education based on individual learning needs. Participate in evidence-based improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

 

Ideal Candidate

Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience; medical-surgical background preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills for patient interaction.

 

Credentials & Qualifications

Education: BSN with 1 year of relevant experience or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience may be considered. Licensure: Current Florida RN license. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
