Insight Global is looking for a Registered Nurse to work in Manhattan to work in the Pediatrics department of Optum Health. This person will provide and document patient care such as giving injections and performing preventive screenings. They will triage patients according to approved protocols and consistent with appointment and scheduling guidelines. As a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol with children and their parents / guardian. They will be responsible for educating patients and parents regarding their illness or injury and provide instruction regarding self-management of their condition. They will be responsible for carrying out standing orders (i.e., authorizing prescription refills and ordering tests) consistent with practice policies and procedures and make sure all patient interactions and other clinical activities are recorded accurately in a timely manner in the
electronic health record (HER).
