Job Details The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the safe and effective administration of intravenous (IV) therapy and other infusion-related treatments. This position involves assessing, monitoring, and educating patients receiving infusion therapy, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices in patient care. The Infusion RN will focus on maintaining a therapeutic and compassionate environment while working with a diverse patient population, addressing their physical, psychological, cognitive, and cultural needs. The role includes performing ongoing assessments, documenting care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Our Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) will: Administer a variety of infusions, including chemotherapy, biologics, immunoglobulin therapy, and antibiotics, in accordance with provider orders and institutional protocols to school age, adolescent, and/or adult patients who need treatment. Monitor patients during infusion therapy, ensuring timely interventions for any complications or adverse reactions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on infusion therapy techniques, medications, and patient care protocols. Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. Evaluate and document patient response to and outcomes of care provided and revises plan of care accordingly. Partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for patients through safety intervention and support. What you'll bring: Passion for Infusion Nursing 1+ years of Infusion Nursing experience required, including experience with safely administering chemotherapy agents Excellent IV skills required Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required; ONS Fundamentals of chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration certification required Salary Range USD $49.39 - USD $58.04 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
