Our physicians perform one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions. Exciting opportunities await eligible candidates in our state of the art St. Francis Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab Program at St. Joseph Hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. Job Details Our Cath Lab RN will: Circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and Percutaneous Coronary Interventional (PCI) procedures performed in the Cath Lab Admit and recover pre and post Cath patients. Cross-train to hemodynamic monitoring and is responsible to perform hemostasis Provide direct nursing care to patients, assuming responsibility and accountability for the total care of assigned patients Supervise and direct the activities of Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants **On call is required for this position** Qualifications: Associates in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State. 2 years Critical Care experience required. 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred. Prior Procedural Nursing (RN) experience preferred. BLS required for all RN’s. ACLS required for PACU, ED, S Unit, and all critical care areas. PALS required for ED and PACU. Salary Range USD $52.59 - USD $61.05 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
