They assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor progress, and educate patients and families. RNs play a crucial role in promoting health, preventing illness, and supporting patients through complex medical procedures. They are committed to maintaining high standards of care, adhering to hospital policies, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. + Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient + Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient + Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues + Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices + Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner + Documents the nursing care plan and incorporates the nursing process following the standard of care for patient care area + Documents changes in patient condition and response to interventions within established timeframes + Connects with and establish relationships with the patient and their family/caregivers using therapeutic communication skills + Involves the patient and family/caregiver in desired outcomes in formulating the plan of care + Identifies and make suggestions for new and innovative ways to improve practice and process for how to deliver care Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing + AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State + Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. + American Heart Association-issued BLS Card + American Heart Association-issued ACLS Card + American Heart Association-issued PALS Card + Basic Computer Skills Advanced Cardiac Life Support (in monitored areas). **Preferred:** + BSN + (2) years recent ED experience. **Pay Range** $35.00 - $58.63 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
