Assesses and analyzes the health status of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in Wound Healing Center in a comprehensive manner. Evidenced by 91% compliance on random 5-chart audit and indirect observation by Nurse Manager. 2. Plans care in collaboration with patient, family, and health care team with consideration for patient’s rights. Evidenced by chart review, direct observation and patient feedback. 3. Directs, implements, and evaluates patient care activities at Wound Care Center to ensure the delivery of quality care. Maintains a good working relationship with Medical Team and follows all guidelines within the clinic and hospital to ensure good patient outcomes. 4. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for patient/family teaching and assisting other staff members in meeting their learning needs. Performance will be based on random chart reviews of 5-chart, feedback from patients and significant others. Performance is satisfactory when the nurses performance Is 91% compliant the following areas. 5. Demonstrates a commitment to personal accountability and growth. 6. Adheres to and follows the principles of the Customer Relation Program. 7. Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Education: 1. Active Registered Nurse in Kentucky. Licensure Certification: 1. Current Kentucky license as a Registered Nurse, graduated from an approved school of nursing. Experience: 1. Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience; Wound Care experience preferred. Management Skills: 1. Organizational and leadership abilities on a beginner level. 2. Ability to function calmly under stress. 3. Willing to assume responsibility for self and those under her supervision. 4. Demonstrates self-control and maturity in all interpersonal relationships. 5. Knows and uses the principles of time management, problem solving, decision-making, delegation, communication and supervision. Communication Skills: 1. Legible handwriting with accurate spelling and grammar. 2. Telephone skills. 3. Interpersonal skill with patients, peers, supervisors and physicians. 4. Assertiveness. 5. Communicates attitude of caring. Patient Care Skills: 1. Skill in recognition of and identification of symptoms that may require immediate action. 2. Physical assessment skills. 3.
