Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964. The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care. The Access Coordinator (AC) will be responsible for the coordination of patient admissions and transfers from
regional physician offices and facilities, from the initial call through successful arrival at KHN facility. The AC
provides the highest quality of customer service to physicians, nurses, patients, and other medical
professionals. The AC serves as a liaison between the regional physicians and hospitals into KHN. The AC will
work closely with admissions/bed control at appropriate KHN facility as well as facilitating the actual logistical
processes which allow for timely and appropriate movement of patient into proper KHN facility.

Preferred Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Graduation from accredited program of nursing, BSN preferred. If outside of network applicant, BSN will be
required to be completed within five years of hire.
Required Licenses
[Ohio, United States] Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of two years clinical experience in an acute care setting with critical care experience preferred. Past
transfer call center experience a plus. Marketing/customer service experience also a plus.
