We are hiring a Registered Nurse to join our AM Pre Procedures Unit working PRN!

PRN; 0530-2, 0530-4, 7-730 shifts

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic Perioperative patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for the registered nurse and support staff. Reports to their respective Perioperative Department Manager and to the Director of Perioperative Services. Collaborates with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Medical Center culture, Vision, Mission and goals.

This role is for the RN preparing patients for surgery, required competencies are:

EXperienced RN of at least one year Competent with basic nursing skills Excellent communication skills Attention to details Problem solving and critical thinking

Education            

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate Degree

Experience           

At least one or more year(s) of service within a Perioperative Department field of nursing

License/Registration/Certifications               

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (R.N) licensure permitting practice in South Carolina  American Heart Association Certification as follow per Perioperative Department:
