Join our team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital located in sunny Florida’s Treasure Coast. Cleveland Clinic Indian River has been recognized as one of the top regional hospitals in South Florida and has been committed to providing optimal family-centric and community-focused care.
As part of our Vero Radiology Associates team, you will use advanced tools to assist in providing a full range of imaging services, from diagnostic imaging to interventional treatments. Here, you will be part of a collaborative, compassionate, and innovative family of caregivers in one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment. Perform telephone triage. Notify physician/LIP of abnormal findings. Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family and health care team. Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the clinical department and medical specialty assigned. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response and assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Provide health education to patients and families by helping develop, evaluate, adapt, and document materials according to learning needs. Facilitate smooth operation of the ambulatory areas. Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety. Maintain professional growth and development in the nursing field and identified annual core competencies.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Cancer specific certification or demonstrated ongoing qualifying education within the timeframe of the facilities accreditation cycle One year recent experience as a RNPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
