RN ASC Endoscopy Part Time
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in procedure room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects. **Part time, days** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Associates of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) or above required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred + Current registered nurse licensure in State of employment + BLS / ACLS Certified, as applicable + CPAN, CAPA, and / or CNOR, preferred + Minimum of 3 years of endoscopy nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting, preferred + Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards Grandview Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopyfacility which islocatedin theGrandview Physicians Plaza at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. There are 16 pre/post procedural beds and four state-of-the-art endoscopic procedure rooms. The Center will provide therapeutic and diagnostic services of various diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract, especially colon cancer screenings, ina personalized and caring environment.
