Assists physicians during surgery and procedures by functioning in a circulating role. Participates with other center team members to provide optimal patient care and efficient patient flow, taking into consideration the population-specific needs for patients at all stages of life. **Details of the position:** + Performs professional intra-operative nursing care for patients to ensure a caring patient experience. + Coordinates with other internal or external disciplines that are involved in providing patient care. + Reviews inventory and stock levels of equipment and supplies before any procedures. + Ensures patient safety and care through the coordination of surgical technologists and surgeons. + Ensures patient safety through transportation, transferring, and positioning. + Assists during patient induction and emergence. + Completes appropriate medical records documentation and responds to patient requests for care. + Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care processes as necessary in consultation with other nursing staff and physicians. + Administers sedation analgesia under the direction of the attending physicians. + Performs other duties as assigned. **What you bring:** + Graduate of accredited School of Nursing Required. + Minimum of 1 year Required: Related experience in a multi-specialty Operating Room, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center. + Required: Completion of an accredited OR training program. + Required: Registered Nurse in state of practice. + Required: Basic Life Support for healthcare providers. + Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support. + Required: Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
