Job Description

Position is Full Time working 12 hour Night shifts at Oro Valley Hospital in the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.

$10k Sign on Bonus offered for eligible experienced RNs

 

The RN in the Oro Valley Hospital, Behavioral Health Unit plans, directs, participates in and provides quality patient care for adult patients.  This 17-bed specialty unit is for voluntary adult psychiatric patients only, ages 18 and above .

Unique opportunity for experienced RN's in Behavioral Health to expand skillset in a supportive atmosphere dedicated to growth and education. 

What you'll do:

The RN collaborates with other disciplines including social workers, mental health physicians, nurse practitioners, volunteers, activity therapists to provide optimal, integrated care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required,

BSN preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years previous clinical experience in behavioral health highly preferred.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements        

BLS Basic Cardiac ( American Heart Association or American Red Cross) AZ or compact RN License Handle With Care (HWC) certification required within 30 days of start date
