CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island Neb. in 1887. Today our hospital is a regional referral center with more than 100 physicians and more than 1100 employees working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community.
What is Float Pool? A nursing pool developed by CHI Health for flexible nurses, providing high quality care to patients across multiple nursing departments. Your base rate of pay, merit increases, shift differentials and holiday pay are given in an identical manner as for all core staff. Because this pool is designed to value flexibility, you will earn premium differential pay in addition to normal differential pay.
You’ll build trust in these interactions by presenting a positive attitude and by being reliable. Your success in this role comes from your knowledge to provide care to various disease processes in a variety of situations ranging from minor to critical while being able to consistently remain calm and positive.
