RN Cardiac Cath - PV Lab III
The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath/PV Lab III role leads specialized nursing care within the cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular lab settings. This position partners closely with the healthcare team to provide advanced patient care during procedures, ensuring precision and adherence to established protocols for optimal patient outcomes.

Reviews assessments of patients' medical history and current condition to verify that the correct cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures have been applied.
Oversees the operation of specialized equipment and monitors patients during procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
Administers medications and maintains accurate documentation of patients' responses and procedural details.
Partners closely with the healthcare team, including physicians and technicians, to ensure smooth and successful procedures.
Provides patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath and peripheral vascular lab procedures.
Adheres to professional advancement program requirements, engages in ongoing education, and mentors others to promote professional growth and development to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field, leading to improved patient care and clinical expertise.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: Associates Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or another Allied Health Curriculum
EXPERIENCE:Required:> 2 years Cath lab experience, RCIS for Cath Lab, RCES or IBHRE for EP
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
RCIS to be obtained within 24 months of hire.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
ACLS obtain with 6 months of hire.
