Position: RN Cardiovascular UnitLocation: Elmhurst Hospital 155 E. Brush Hill Road Elmhurst, IL.Full Time: 36 hours weekHours: Nights 7:00pm-7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays

A Brief Overview:

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

Associate Degree or higher in NursingIf Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfatheredORRN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensureCurrent CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red CrossAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date in position Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within in 6 months of start date in position

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
