Full Time Clinical Nurse Leader position , working Night shift in the CVICU at Northwest Medical Center
What you'll do:
The 15 bed Cardiac and Vascular Intensive Care Unit is a dynamic setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients that require therapies, complex cardiothoracic surgeries and mechanical devices.
The Clinical Nurse Leader RN is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the assigned shift. CNL Performs duties in the nursing capacity as needed and is qualified.

Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

Qualifications
2 years of clinical nursing experience required Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to oversee complex patient care. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. Leadership and mentoring skills to manage staff and promote a positive work environment. Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage multiple patients and tasks. Proficiency in using hospital information systems and clinical documentation tools. Knowledge of infection control protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement practices. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for addressing unit challenges and emergencies.Licenses and Certifications
