Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team. The Clinical Coordinator facilitates patient flow, and coordinates activities and communication for the unit during his/her assigned shift. This person ensures that the patient care is delivered to all patients on the nursing unit in an efficient, caring, and courteous manner working alongside a transdisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
3 years previous experience providing care in either an acute care or inpatient rehab facility Previous charge nurse or supervisory experiencePreferred
Experience with staffing, scheduling and clinical skill mixEducation/Certifications
Graduate of an approved RN nursing program; BSN preferred RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent CRRN, CBIS, or other nursing specialty certification or willingness to acquire within defined parametersQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
