Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team. The Clinical Coordinator facilitates patient flow, and coordinates activities and communication for the unit during his/her assigned shift. This person ensures that the patient care is delivered to all patients on the nursing unit in an efficient, caring, and courteous manner working alongside a transdisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

3 years previous experience providing care in either an acute care or inpatient rehab facility Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience

Preferred

Experience with staffing, scheduling and clinical skill mix

Education/Certifications

Graduate of an approved RN nursing program; BSN preferred RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent CRRN, CBIS, or other nursing specialty certification or willingness to acquire within defined parameters
