Responsibilities:Functions as a clinical leader/expert in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing. Practice aims at achieving quality patient care outcomes. Responsible for coordinating orientation programs, continuing inservice education, and ongoing educational programs for the nursing staff. Works with unit management to organize and develop quality assurance projects. Collaborates and consults with other nurses and healthcare professionals to advance nursing practice and improve clinical outcomes.
Qualifications:Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required
• 2 years of clinical experience in area of specialty required
• Experience in patient and staff education development and implementation, quality improvement, program development and professional development required
Licenses and Certifications
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
