Why This Role?

As the RN Clinical Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic and highly skilled team on an 31-bed inpatient unit that provides care to a diverse patient population—including general medical/surgical patients and oncology patients before and after procedures. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit where critical thinking, strong communication, and teamwork are essential.


What You’ll Bring

Current Montana RN license (or compact license with MT authorization).

BSN required; Master’s preferred (Nursing, Healthcare Admin, or related).

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in acute care.

At least 2 years of recent experience in med/surg, oncology, surgical services, or related specialty.

Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and collaboration skills.

A passion for patient-centered care and staff development.

What You’ll Oversee

Patient Populations: Orthopedic, Neurologic, Thoracic, Urologic, Surgical Oncology, and Medical Oncology patients.

Clinical Procedures & Skills: PICC lines, wound vacs, chest tubes, TPN, epidurals, PCAs, JP/Hemovac drains, chemotherapy administration (including HIPEC), NG tubes, ostomy care, and more.

Daily Rhythm: High volume of admissions and discharges on day shift; supportive team environment on both day and night shifts.

Lead day-to-day operations and ensure top-quality clinical care.

Support, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.

Foster a culture of safety, growth, and exceptional patient service.

Partner closely with interdisciplinary teams, HR, and leadership on strategic initiatives, compliance, and process improvements.

Be a visible leader on the unit—rounding regularly, problem-solving in real time, and ensuring the needs of patients, families, and staff are met.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
