GENERAL SUMMARY

Department: Outpatient Infusion Schedule: Full-time Days: Monday - Friday  Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI

Coordinates nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

Responsibilities:

Develops and oversees program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develops and documents care plans and therapy programs. Oversees and ensures plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensures necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.| May supervise and direct nursing staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

     Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.      Knowledge of Chemotherapy Administration and Regimens      Knowledge of Infusion Center Operations

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED

       BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.        Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.       ONS Certification Required       OCN Certification Preferred, Excellent IV Skills Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Health St. John Hospital Department: Cancer CTR Infusion Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
