The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibilityand accountability for the application of the nursing process and the deliveryof patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities includemonitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management,medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central linecare, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status.The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

$2,664/wk gross travel pay
3 x12s day shift – urgent start needed. Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks of offer. Expedited onboarding approved.

• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district – Required
• ICU Experience – Required: 2 Years
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
• BSN – Highly desired
“?? The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients.??? Various types of technology are used to care for and treat critical care patients.??? This technology includes, but is not limited to,ventilators,entriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps.?? Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
