Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care teamCare for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical conditionResponding to medical emergencies for critical patientsCoordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient. Professional accountability and developmentRequirements:
