**Job Summary** The Dialysis RN plans, organizes, and oversees the daily operations of the dialysis department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This position provides leadership and direction to staff, focusing on patient satisfaction, employee engagement, financial stewardship, and compliance with quality and safety standards. The Manager collaborates with other departments and healthcare providers to optimize operational efficiency and clinical outcomes. **Essential Functions** + Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care in the dialysis unit, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards. + Identifies opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and enhanced safety practices, and implements solutions that improve quality outcomes. + Analyzes operational and clinical performance data to drive measurable improvements in patient care and satisfaction. + Develops and implements tactical action plans, setting individual and team goals to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. + Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues, develop new programs, and promote interdepartmental communication and teamwork. + Monitors and evaluates departmental operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with budgetary and growth targets. + Manages patient case reviews, addressing concerns and resolving issues to ensure a positive patient experience. + Develops and enforces policies, procedures, and clinical practice standards to maintain compliance with applicable laws and accreditation requirements. + Leads and supports staff development initiatives, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to promote professional growth and retention. + Ensures accurate documentation and reporting related to patient care, staff performance, and departmental metrics. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Complies with all policies and standards. **Qualifications** + Associate Degree in Nursing required + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred + 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in dialysis required + 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Strong understanding of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care protocols. + Proven ability to manage teams, resources, and operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. + Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements. + Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements. + Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology. + Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and interdisciplinary teams. **Licenses and Certifications** + RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required + BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
