Patient Population: Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Injury, Managing LVAD patients during Dialysis, Managing Complex Medical and Surgical patients during Dialysis. 

\n\n\n

Patient Ratios: 1:1-4 Depending on Acuity 

\n\n\n

Number of Beds: 11 beds 

\n\n\n

Department Specifics: 72% BSN rate, 24% certification rate, 24/7 coverage with night nurse and on-call, diverse staff population with experience ranging from Novice to 20+ years of experience combined.

Registered Nurse Requirements 

\n\n\n\n\n

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 

\n\n2 YEARS OF DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED\n\n\n\n\n\n

License/Certification  

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

RN – Registered Nurse 

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) 

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) 

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Successful EKG Competency validation (within 30 days of hire)
