Job Summary The Nursing Student Success & Retention Specialist is a nursing program faculty role with primary responsibility for the program's academic support program. The individual collaborates with other program faculty and staff and reports to the Program Director. The SSP coordinator provides leadership and coordination as the student progress committee standing chairperson and collaborates closely with other program faculty, staff, and administrators to support student learning and program outcomes. Because the Student Success Program Coordinator is a school-based faculty member in the nursing program, the individual may also be expected to fulfill the duties of that role, and as assigned, including but not limited to providing instructional support in a variety of learning environments. Qualifications Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. Master's Degree - OR - BSN and currently enrolled in an MSN program Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure PA Registered Nurse License BLS Certification Required Skills Computer Skills to include use and navigation Detail Oriented Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills Leadership Skills Organizational Skills Strong Team Player
