0.75 FTE (60 hours per 2-week pay period)
12-hour day/evening shifts
Every 3rd weekend
MNA-represented | Benefit-eligible position.
Tier 1: 1 year of RN ED experience or successful completion of RN ED orientation required.
Tier 2: RN ED, EMS or ICU patient care experience required.
Tier 3: RN Acute Care experience including urgent care or New Graduate with ED/EMT/EMS experience required.
Job Description:
Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs.
Treats patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severed medical conditions that require urgent treatment.
Principle Responsibilities
◦ Demonstrates ability to coordinate, delegate, and direct unit operation, collaborates effectively with unit staff, leadership and other disciplines.Preceptor (only when acting in this role).
◦ Demonstrates ability to identify the orientee's learning needs, plans appropriate learning experiences and demonstrates ability to validate clinical competence of orientee.Other duties as assigned.

Licenses/Certifications
◦ Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
◦ Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
◦ Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Multisource required within 1 YearAdditional certifications may be needed at certain sites:
◦ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
◦ Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
◦ Other certifications may be required within 1 year of hire
