Urgently Hiring a Registered Nurse!

Job Description

This is a full-time direct hire permanent position with a large healthcare network within the state of Arizona. The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endocrinology and Infectious Disease department is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with endocrine and infectious diseases. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients with endocrine and infectious diseases.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, including vaccinations and diabetes treatments.Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Coordinate with home health and handle refill requests.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including electronic health records (EHR) and handle prior authorization.Implement and adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in endocrinology and infectious disease nursing.Essential SkillsPatient careMedical record managementCare managementCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practiceGraduate of an accredited nursing programMinimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in endocrinology or infectious diseaseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationWork Environment

Endocrinology & Infectious Disease outpatient office, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $79000.00
