In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, patient intervention and promote effective working relationships. This Clinical Nurse II involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for pre/intra/post-operative areas for our ambulatory interventional radiology procedures and assist with other radiology modalities as required. Additionally, the position includes providing patient and family education, participating in research projects and quality initiatives to ensure safe continuity of care. Salary range: $59.46 - $88.39 Hourly Qualifications + BSN or higher - required + Current valid California RN license - required + ACLS, BCLS and PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association - required + At least 3 years of recent ICU, Cath Lab or Radiology experience - required + Strong IV Skills - strongly preferred + Ability to cover all areas of Radiology, including the clinics and future radiology areas + Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff + Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments + Ability to wear lead and stand for long periods of time + Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire + Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
