Responsibilities
New! This position floats to 2 levels of care in 1-2 facilities and is paid a 15% differential (of the base hourly rate)!
Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with YRMC established policies, operating practices, guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Staffing Services (Float Pool) Nurses will be expected to float to appropriate level of care (LOC) departments within their base facility as well as the sister facility and will fall into one of three tiers (Float I, Float II, Float III). Float Tier will be determined by the hiring manager based on experience and training.

Two years of general RN care experienceAssociate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalentValid compact state or Arizona RN licenseAmerican Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life SupportAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of ageDemonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of positionPreferred
Two years of medical/surgical, progressive care or critical care experience. Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalentPlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
