General Surgery Medical Acute is a36 Bed General Surgery and Medical Cardiac unit (5P) located in Prebys Cardiovascular Institute on the Scripps Memorial La Jolla campus. The patient populations include bariatric, gynecological, colorectal, and medical cardiac patients.

As RN you will monitor and recognize patient vital signs, symptoms, telemetry readings and EKG for abnormal heart rhythms or changes such as Afib, heart blocks, vtach/fib.Collaborate and establish trust with surgeons, physician assistants, cardiologist general medical practitioners, family nurse practitioners, charge nurse, nurse assistants and other various care team members to achieve optimum patient care.

This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met​:

·Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)​
